In just his second season in the NHL, 2008 - 09, Blackhawks Center Jonathan Toews was named the team captain. This made him the third youngest player ever to be given that honor. He was also named to his first All Star team in his rookie season. Since then he's gone on to be named an All Star three additional times (2011, 2015, 2017). In the 2009 -10 season, Toews led the 'Hawks to the Stanley Cup Finals where they defeated the Flyers in six games to win the franchise's first title since 1961.
