How to enable/disable cookies in various browsers.


What are cookies?


Cookies are used to collect and store information on the local computer of the person using the website. They are usually used to identify users who have visited the site previously. They relate one computer transaction to another.


How do I enable cookies on my browser?


Depending on your browser, there are several ways to enable cookies. Please find the browser you use below and follow the instructions.


Google Chrome


Click the Chrome menu icon.

Choose Settings

Click "Show Advanced Settings" near the bottom of the page.

Click Content Settings in the "Privacy" section.

Select Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies.

If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to "Block all third-party cookies without exception."


Microsoft Internet Explorer

From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

From the Privacy tab, adjust the slider to the desired setting.

The cookie permission level appears at the right side of the window.

Click OK.


Mozilla Firefox


Note: Cookies are enabled by default in Firefox.

To check or change your settings:

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.

Select the Privacy panel.

Set Firefox will: to Use custom settings for history.

Check Accept cookies from sites to enable Cookies and un-check it to disable them.

Click OK
