For his play, he won the Vezina Trophy, which is awarded to the league's best goaltender, and was named a finalist for the Hart Memorial Trophy. After a terrific regular season, he helped lead the Rangers all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2015 and was named a First Team All-Star at the end of the postseason.
